What is Tuition.io?
Tuition.io is a web-based suite of tools and resources to help you repay your student loan debt in the most efficient way possible and manage the future costs of college.
For student loan borrowers this includes decision support tools and guidance for evaluating repayment strategies including income driven repayment plans, loan forgiveness programs and refinancing. For those preparing for future educational expenses, you can access 529 and scholarship information as well as compare the costs and value of colleges.

Can I talk to someone about my student loan debt?
Our student loan coaches help employees and their family members with questions about delinquency, default, loan forgiveness, refinancing, repayment plans, affordability, and more.
After registering your account, you can contact your loan coaches via email or by scheduling a phone call.

Are there any fees to employees?
No. Tuition.io will never ask employees to pay for any services or try to sell you any other products or services.

Can Tuition.io help with college planning?
Yes. As college costs continue to increase, it’s important to have tools available as you start to plan. The College Financial Planner lets you estimate how much you’ll need to save, based on college start date, state of residency, type of school and number of years in college.

How do you keep my information secure?
We take data security extremely seriously. Extensive measures are taken to ensure data privacy and security, and we have met the most stringent compliance requirements. Our technology carries best-in-class security, including encryption in transit using TLS 1.2+, and encryption at rest using AES256. Tuition.io is ISO 27001 compliant.

What is PSLF?
PSLF is a loan forgiveness program for Federal Direct student loans. It forgives the remaining loan balance of borrowers who make 120 eligible payments while employed by an eligible employer such as a 501(c)3 non-profit, tribal, or government employer.

How do I qualify?
Working full-time (30+ hours/week) for an eligible employer such as a 501(c)3 non-profit, tribal, or government employer, while making payments on your federal student loans may qualify you for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF), in your present or past role(s).Register your Tuition.io account and upload your National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS) document following the instructions in the platform.Use the PSLF Tool on Tuition.io to identify any issues that may prevent you from obtaining PSLF, and next steps to get on track. You can also estimate monthly payments and how much you could get forgiven under PSLF.Submit your PSLF form using Tuition.io’s convenient web-based PSLF form.

If I am already enrolled in the PSLF program can I still use Tuition.io?
Yes! Even if you already took care of PSLF this year you can still enroll through Tuition.io to begin experiencing PSLF digitally through the software and email reminders to keep you on track.

I’m not interested in pursuing PSLF, can I still use Tuition.io?
Yes - you can absolutely still use Tuition.io’s resources and loan coaches even if you are not PSLF eligible or don’t have student loans currently.

If I have employment with another employer, how can I have that employment verified through Tuition.io?
During the PSLF form steps, you’ll be asked if you want to have the form issued to your current or former employer. You’ll need to use the ‘former employer’ option to generate a PSLF form to send to your other employer.

How can I get additional support?
Tuition.io offers support in the form of technical assistance as well as 1:1 student loan coaching. Both are directly accessible from your Tuition.io account.
Forgiveness Tracking
Estimate your total forgiveness amount and receive customized recommendations for your loans to get on track and stay on track for PSLF.
Automated reminders
Receive automated reminders to stay on track by re-certifying your income and resubmitting your PSLF form annually.
Digital Submissions
Digitally complete and submit your PSLF form in your Tuition.io portal and see when it’s been signed by your employer and sent to the Department of Education.
